| Day 13 (September 2, 2006) - Mitchell, SD | |||

| We are traveling along the Mississippi River on Wisconsin Scenic Route to La Crosse and then straight west through Minnesota to South Dakota. No stops, no detours. About 300 miles of plains, pastures, cows, corn fields and not much else. The Mississippi river is so wide in some parts that looks like a lake. Lots of fishing going on around here. Every other house has a boat in the front yeard. Many houses look like boats anyways. After enjoying a sunset out of this world, we arrive in Mitchell, SD at night. I have never seen so many RVs in one place. We won't be lonely tonight. |
